Charles R. “Bud” Snyder Jr., 75, of Osterburg, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Conemaugh Hospital.

He was born on February 23, 1944, in Cumberland, Md; son of the late Charles Sr. and Virginia (Shaffer) Snyder.

On October 1, 1976, he married Stephanie “Robin” (Henry) Snyder.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, JoAnn Snyder and his dog Dewie.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; children, Lori Snyder of Osterburg; Stacy and husband Brian Fajbik of Pittsburgh; Kelly and husband Adam McGinnis of Duncansville; brothers, John Snyder and Robert “Bob” Snyder both of Hyndman; and his first and only grandchild Baby Mac who is 3 weeks old.

Charles was a member of the Faith Baptist Church for 33 years and served as the Treasurer for 30 years. He worked at Bedford Materials and retired in 2006. He served in the United States Navy from 1962-1964.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, August 17 from 9 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor James West officiating at the Faith Baptist Church in Osterburg.

Interment will be held at the Osterburg Community Church.

Military Rites accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
